Job summary

Uniserve Communications Corporation is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to install and service structured cabling, wireless internet systems and antennas, with occasional tower climbing up to 160 feet. You will troubleshoot, test, and document work at customer sites, delivering professional service and maintaining equipment and CRM records.

Ideal candidates enjoy outdoor work, have a solid mechanical/technical aptitude, and are comfortable working with customers.

Qualifications

• Valid G driver\'s license is required.
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing towers up to 160 feet.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Able to use hand and power tools.
• Reliable, organized and safety-conscious.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in cabling, telecommunications, wireless, networking, construction, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, and troubleshoot Cat6, fiber, wireless equipment, antennas, access points, cameras, and AV equipment.
• Install and maintain wireless internet equipment at customer locations.
• Climb towers up to 160 feet to install and service wireless equipment.
• Perform signal strength, continuity, and cable testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve field technical issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and company vehicles.
• Communicate professionally with customers and explain completed work.
• Document work and update the company CRM within one hour of completing jobs.
• Complete required safety and technical training.
