Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant field service experience.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, wiring diagrams, motors, PLCs, HVAC.

We’re hiring Field Service Technicians!

Our client is expanding their team and looking for skilled, motivated individuals to fill full-time, permanent Field Service Technician roles. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values safety, innovation, and delivering exceptional service.

We’re looking for technicians who are self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently on-site. Problem-solving under pressure and collaborating with teams when needed are key parts of the role.

Position Details
  • Title: Field Service Technician
  • Location: Surrey, BC
  • Type: Permanent full-time with overtime
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Wage: $30-$46 per hour (based on experience)
  • Certifications: Journeyman or Red Seal Millwrights, Electricians, Heavy Duty Mechanics, or Diesel Mechanics considered assets
  • Experience: Previous compressed air service, HVAC, or field service experience is an asset
  • Legal: Must be legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems at client sites
  • Troubleshoot equipment and perform repairs safely and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding issues and repairs
  • Document service reports and complete work orders accurately
  • Follow safety procedures and protocols
  • Travel within the service area; occasional overnight stays may be required
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, wiring diagrams, motors, PLCs, HVAC, or refrigeration systems
  • 3+ years of relevant field service experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are assets
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and mobile devices
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and read manuals
  • Commitment to safety and ongoing learning
Physical and Working Conditions
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and weather
  • Work in physically demanding environments
  • Use of PPE required
Application Requirements
  • Pass drug and alcohol screening
  • Provide a clean driver’s abstract
  • Hold a valid Canadian passport for training
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Be willing to travel as needed
