Savanna Drilling Corp. is seeking a Field Superintendent to lead drilling operations, oversee Rig Managers, and manage equipment and resources across assigned rigs. The role requires strong leadership, extensive drilling knowledge, and the ability to travel extensively to field sites.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, cost control, and coordination with maintenance, with an emphasis on efficient operations and regulatory adherence across Alberta rigs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 10 years oilfield industry experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid, related certifications such as H2S Alive, First Aid, Blow-out Prevention.
• Strong leadership and field supervision skills.
• Willingness to travel 60-80% weekly.

Responsabilités

• Direct and supervise Rig Managers, ensuring operational adherence to policies, procedures, schedules and safety protocols.
• Monitor drilling program progress, including efficiency and performance of rig equipment and costs; identify issues and improvements.
• Schedule and perform regular drilling rig visits; 60-80% travel required.
• Coordinate with Savanna Maintenance Team for equipment servicing and repairs.
• Assist rig with planning rig moves and permits; manage equipment and materials.
• Prepare operational reports highlighting key metrics for management.
