Are you a proven leader with a passion for operational excellence and field execution? We are seeking a highly organized and safety-focused Field Services and Maintenance Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on-site in Grande Prairie. This role is critical in ensuring our projects site services are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

About the Role:

The Field Services and Maintenance Manager will be based in Grande Prairie, AB, reporting to the Logistics Manager, supporting operations across multiple facilities and project sites. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday role, with occasional weekend or after-hours support as required.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in Oil and Gas operations
  • Proven supervisory or management experience
  • Strong understanding of cryogenics and LNG operations an asset
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of AER and Transport Canada regulations and industry standards
  • Understanding of the Cryopeak Operations Management System
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Makes safety a priority

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee all day-to-day field and maintenance activities
  • Lead and supervise site crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with project/operations requirements.
  • Coordinate field operations with project managers, engineers, HSE personnel, and client representatives.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental policies, including regular safety meetings, site inspections, and incident reporting.
  • Lead with integrity, accountability, and respect to build a positive, high-performing team. Boost morale and drive continuous improvement through clear communication, coaching, and support. Create a safe, valued environment where everyone’s motivated to excel.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, proactively addressing delays or issues.
  • Manage site logistics, including equipment mobilization, materials handling, and scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate documentation such as daily field reports, safety records, timesheets, and equipment logs.
  • Support cost control by tracking material usage, labor hours, and equipment utilization.
  • Participate in pre-job planning, site walkdowns, risk assessments, and client meetings as required.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high performance on-site.
