Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician in Peterborough, ON to install and support wireless communications systems. You will diagnose, repair, and program 2‑way radios and related hardware, while providing excellent customer service.

Expect occasional regional travel and on‑call duties to meet client needs. The role requires 3+ years of field experience, strong RF/telecom and diagnostic skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of service technician experience diagnosing, repairing, programming and installing 2‑way radio equipment.
• Strong knowledge of RF/telecommunications and networking.
• Experience interpreting schematics and diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Background checks and drug screening are standard in hiring.

Responsibilities

• Install and support wireless communications systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair radios and related equipment.
• Some regional/overnight travel and on-call work may be required.
