Job summary

Innovair Industrial is seeking a hands-on Service Technician in Winnipeg to diagnose, repair, calibrate and maintain welding machines, plasma cutters and related equipment for customers. You will perform preventative maintenance, test operations and provide on-site service to ensure reliability and performance.

Prior hands-on experience with industrial equipment is valued; training will be provided on our specific systems. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical foundation in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Able to read technical manuals, diagrams and specs.
• Willing to travel for customer service and training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and troubleshoot welding machines, plasma cutters and industrial equipment.
• Repair equipment and test completed work.
• Perform calibration checks to meet tolerances.
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections.
• Provide on-site service and technical support.
• Communicate equipment status and needs to customers.
