Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites in a Toromont Service truck and service heavy equipment. You will diagnose problems, perform repairs, and maintain strong customer relationships across Eastern Canada.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous learning through Toromont's internal training programs, with a competitive total rewards package and flexible schedules across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician License.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment both in the shop and in the field.
• Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS would be beneficial).
• A valid Driver’s Licence (DZ Licence preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment and leveraging top tier technical skills.
• Maintain quality workmanship to repair Caterpillar equipment within established time standards out in the field.

Description

Toromont Cat is looking for a Field Service Technician, Heavy Equipment to go directly to customer sites in a Toromont Service truck and provide superior service and product expertise to maintain high standards that ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner with the utmost integrity.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$49.42 - $53.02
