Job summary

Schlumberger Canada Limited in Clairmont, Alberta is seeking a Field Specialist to install and service Cameron surface equipment at customer sites. The role involves travel to field locations, outdoor work in varying weather, and physically demanding tasks.

You will work independently and in teams, maintaining safety standards, completing field documentation with digital tools, and coordinating with field leads to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical diploma required.
• 2+ years of hands-on oil and gas field experience preferred.
• Experience in drilling, completions, frac, service rig or wellhead operations preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools and equipment.
• Comfortable using a company-provided laptop and mobile apps for field documentation.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
• Willingness to travel to remote locations and work extended hours as needed.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Willingness to complete safety training and maintain certifications.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain Cameron surface equipment at customer sites.
• Perform field service activities at drilling rigs and frac locations.
• Execute torque operations, frac operations, and service rig work as required.
• Maintain service units, tools, and field equipment in safe condition.
• Travel to remote locations using SLB vehicles.
• Complete field documentation and invoicing using digital tools.
• Collaborate with field leads, customers, and other personnel for safe operations.
• Attend required safety training and maintain applicable certifications.
• Adhere to SLB Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and operational standards.
