Job summary

Liebherr Canada Ltd. is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to repair and maintain Liebherr maritime equipment at customer sites, including offshore platforms.

You will troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, read schematics, perform inspections, and document service reports. The role requires travel within Canada, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment.
• Ability to travel provincially within Canada.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Demonstrated diagnostic skills with hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and drawings.
• Excellent communication of detailed information.
• Proficiency with MS Office and service reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect and diagnose Liebherr machinery and components to resolve moderate to complex problems.
• Recondition and repair equipment components and systems including warranty work.
• Perform preparation and pre-delivery inspections of equipment and new/used gear.
• Conduct fluid checks, oil and filter changes, and lubrication of lube points as needed.
• Submit accurate service reports in a timely manner.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment and work areas per policy.
• Support in shop repairs and related duties as assigned.
