Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installations, calibration and preventive maintenance on laboratory weighing equipment across the GTA region. You will troubleshoot issues, support projects, and ensure customer uptime with accurate service documentation.

The role requires a two-year diploma in Engineering/Electronics/Instrumentation Technology, proficiency with Office tools, ability to lift heavy gear, and occasional travel to the USA for training.

Qualifications

• Two-year college diploma in Engineering/Electronics/Instrumentation Technology or equivalent.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide customer-focused service.
• Proficient with PCs, smartphones and MS Office applications; able to learn MT software.

Responsibilities

• Perform, installations, calibration and preventive maintenance on lab weighing equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot basic issues, support installations and repairs; ensure uptime and timely PM work.
• Promote and submit sales leads; provide technical solutions and application support.
• Maintain vehicle, parts inventory and complete service documentation accurately.
