Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Cambridge, ON is seeking a Field Service Technician – Unlicensed to maintain and repair construction equipment on customer sites. This full-time, permanent role requires hands-on mechanical experience, a valid G class license, and a customer-focused approach to keep rental fleet operating safely.

You will work regionally, on-call as needed, with benefits including health, pension, and insurance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment including Genie, Skyjack and CAT.
• G Class driver's license with a clean abstract.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Familiarity with Cat ET and SIS is a plus.
• Ability to work in all weather and on-call schedules.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and health policies.
• Repair and service equipment on site.
• Perform inspections on equipment on job site.
• Ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner.
• Maneuver regionally in traffic.
• Provide excellent customer relations in a fast-paced environment.
• Adapt to on-call schedules and varying weather conditions.
• Ensure service vehicles are maintained and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
