Brandt Tractor Ltd presents a Field Service Technician opportunity at our Lloydminster Brandt Peterbilt location. You will independently diagnose, service, maintain, and repair customer equipment in field environments, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and to the highest quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, plus solid diagnostic skills and the ability to mentor apprentices.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in Heavy Equipment, Agriculture, or Truck/Transport.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant field service experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong diagnostic, calibration, and computer aptitude.
• Excellent time management and communication skills; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain equipment in field settings.
• Perform diagnostics on power equipment to identify repair needs.
• Disassemble, repair mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as fluid changes, battery testing and brake adjustments.
• Mentor and oversee apprentices; support their growth.
• Maintain current product knowledge and safety practices.
