Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Field Service Technician to service heating, cooling, and power equipment across Canada and the U.S. You will install, inspect, and repair equipment at customer sites and branch facilities, while performing preventative maintenance and documenting service reports.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, excellent customer service, and the ability to travel up to 50% across North America.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Field Service Technician or related trades is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across Canada and the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heating, cooling, and power equipment at customer locations and branch facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections to ensure fleet readiness.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues.
• Respond to customer service calls and provide timely technical support.
• Train customers on safe operation and basic maintenance of rental equipment.
• Complete service reports, inspections, and work orders using company technology.
• Work with Operations and Sales teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Travel up to 50% throughout Canada and the U.S. to support customers.
