Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is seeking a Field Service Technician. This on-site role is based in Delta, BC, with local travel to customer sites.

The annual salary range is $62,000 - $92,000, with eligibility for overtime.

What You’ll Do

Servicing uninterruptible power supplies, batteries, and electronic products in high voltage environments at customer sites.

Essential Functions

• Perform emergency and preventive maintenance, installation, and servicing on a 24/7 on-call basis.
• Provide technical support to customers regarding system operation and maintenance.
• Act as the primary contact for technical and service-related issues.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• College diploma or Red Seal (309A) Journeyman Electrician certification.
• At least 1 year of experience with UPS, batteries, or electronics.
• Reside within 80km of Delta, BC.
• Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel to the US for training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of UPS rectifier/inverter and electrical distribution systems.

• Work involves moderately complex assignments requiring judgment and initiative.
• Customer focus, time management, and strong communication skills are essential.
• Work from home when not in the field.
