Job summary

Bidell Gas Compression is seeking a Field Service Mechanic for our Gillette, Wyoming branch. You will provide on-site technical support, installations, and servicing of natural gas engines and compressors at customer sites across western North America.

The role requires a Journeyman Mechanic or Millwright, strong diagnostic skills, and excellent customer communication. A valid Class 5 driver’s license and willingness to join an on-call rotation are essential.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Mechanic or Millwright certification.
• Strong knowledge of natural gas engines and compressors.
• Motivated, well organized and customer-focused.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexible with work hours to meet customer needs.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Willing to participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas engines and compressors at client locations.
• Perform on-site repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Mechanic to join our Gillette, Wyoming Parts and Service Branch.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas engines and compressors at client locations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be a Journeyman Mechanic or Millwright
• Have excellent knowledge of natural gas engines and compressors.
• Be motivated and well organized.
• Have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Be flexible with time scheduling to meet customer needs.
• Willing to comply with all company policies.
• Have a clean class 5 driver’s license.
• Available to participate in the on-call rotation

Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with Waukesha and Caterpillar engines and Recip. compressors.
