The Opportunity:

As the Field Support Implementation Representative, you are part of a team of experts who play a crucial role in supporting key hospitals and laboratories with the installation and smooth functioning of their clinical chemistry, immunoassay, molecular, pathology, urinalysis, and automation solutions.

You are an effective problem solver passionate about the healthcare environment and understand the importance of our solutions on the customer experience and patient care. Your passion for problem resolution and customer satisfaction is supported by your technical knowledge to deliver a stellar customer experience. You will provide timely, accurate and consistent support to our customers to minimize the disruption of their diagnostic service delivery.

This role is installations and modifications focused but does not exclude maintenance and repair support, as required.

• Customer-Centric Focus & Experience: Use a customer-centric focus to deliver a flawless and positive customer experience, complying with administrative and customer experience standards with each service interaction
• Communication & Collaboration: Communicate regularly with national and regional squad members and the National Implementation Manager to gain or share perspective on the customer environment, their expectations, and their experience. Participate in service, sales and customer meetings, where required
• Implementation & Deployment: Act as an implementation crew team member or lead to install and configure instrument software and hardware components and maximize efficient completion of installations (including pre-site inspections and technical installation, upgrades, and issue resolution, where required)
• Team Support, Accountability & Coverage: Back up other Support Representatives for vacation and holiday rotation coverage, where required
• Administrative management and documentation: Document all service related activities (inventory, service activity cases, expense reports, etc.), facilitating smooth hand-off to regional teams. Manage day-to-day administrative activities.
• Maintenance & Technical Support: Perform preventative maintenance and technical service bulletin resolution to support regional teams, and work with local teams to install and configure instrument software and hardware components, as needed
• IT Systems Integration: Work with local RIS application specialist and technical specialist teams to install, configure, and support IT software and hardware components, as needed

Who you are:

• You hold a diploma of collegial studies in electronic technology or related education
• You possess 5+ years of relevant field service experience, laboratory experience is considered a strong asset
• You demonstrate prior customer support experience
• In this position, you will be servicing customers across Canada, therefore a proficient level of English is required and French may be required depending on geographical location
• You demonstrate knowledge of IT systems & Network infrastructure
• This position requires 95% travel, including overnight travel, and requires that the individual reside within 100km of a major metropolitan airport in the Greater Toronto Area or Greater Montreal Area.
• You hold a full, valid driver's license in Canada
• As this is a field based role, periodic travel for training within Canada, Europe and the United States is required

En tant que représentant·e du soutien à l'implantation sur le terrain, vous faites partie d'une équipe d'experts qui jouent un rôle crucial dans le soutien aux principaux hôpitaux et laboratoires pour l'installation et le bon fonctionnement de leurs solutions de chimie clinique, d'immuno analyse, de biologie moléculaire, de pathologie, d'analyse d'urine et d'automatisation.

Vous êtes une personne efficace pour résoudre les problèmes, passionnée par le milieu de la santé, et vous comprenez l'importance de nos solutions sur l'expérience client et les soins aux patients. Votre passion pour la résolution de problèmes et la satisfaction de la clientèle s'appuie sur vos connaissances techniques pour offrir une expérience client hors pair. Vous fournirez un soutien rapide, précis et constant à nos clients afin de minimiser l'interruption de leur prestation de services de diagnostic.

Ce rôle est principalement axé sur les installations et les modifications, sans toutefois exclure le soutien à la maintenance et à la réparation, au besoin.

• Orientation et expérience client : Adopter une approche axée sur le client afin d'offrir une expérience irréprochable et positive, tout en respectant les normes administratives et de service à chaque interaction
• Communication et collaboration : Communiquer régulièrement avec les membres des équipes nationales et régionales ainsi qu'avec le gestionnaire national de la mise en œuvre afin de partager des perspectives sur l'environnement client, ses attentes et son expérience. Participer aux réunions de service, de vente et avec les clients, au besoin
• Mise en œuvre et déploiement : Agir à titre de membre ou de responsable d'équipe pour installer et configurer les composants matériels et logiciels (hardware/software) et maximiser l'exécution efficace des installations (incluant les inspections préalables du site, l'installation technique, les mises à niveau et la résolution de problèmes, au besoin)
• Soutien d'équipe, responsabilisation et couverture : Assurer le remplacement des autres représentants du service de soutien lors des vacances et des jours fériés, selon les besoins
• Gestion administrative et documentation : Documenter l'ensemble des activités de service (inventaire, dossiers d'intervention, rapports de dépenses, etc.) afin de faciliter une transition fluide avec les équipes régionales, et assurer la gestion administrative quotidienne.
• Maintenance et soutien technique : Effectuer la maintenance préventive et la résolution des bulletins de service technique en soutien aux équipes régionales, et collaborer avec les équipes locales pour installer et configurer les composants matériels et logiciels (hardware/software)
• Intégration des systèmes IT : Travailler avec les spécialistes d'applications RIS et les équipes techniques locales pour installer, configurer et soutenir les composants logiciels et informatiques, selon les besoins

Qui vous êtes :

• Vous possédez un diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) en technologie de l'électronique (ou formation connexe) et possède des connaissances solides en systèmes informatiques et infrastructures réseau
• Vous avez plus de 5 ans d'expérience pertinente dans le service sur le terrain, idéalement acquise en milieu de laboratoire (un atout majeur)
• Vous démontrez une expérience éprouvée en soutien à la clientèle, axée sur la centralité client
• Dans ce poste, vous collaborez avec des clients partout au Canada, donc un niveau d'anglais maîtrise est exigé, et le français pourrait être requis selon la région géographique
• Ce poste exige 95 % de déplacements, y compris des débouchés, et requiert que la personne réside dans un rayon de 100 km d'un aéroport métropolitain majeur de la région du Grand Toronto ou du Grand Montréal.
• Vous détenez un permis de conduire canadien valide et complet.
