Your Role:
As a Spectroscopy Field Service Engineer for Agilent, you will work in various labs, so a passion for continuous learning about new instruments, software, and consumables is essential. Applying your communication skills, creativity, and a can-do attitude is vital. Your ability to solve customer problems and your commitment to delivering high-level customer service will help build customer success.

Responsibilities:

1. Install and optimize hardware, software, and network products at customer sites. Diagnose and resolve performance issues.
2. Perform maintenance and repairs.
3. Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations to optimize product performance.
4. Proactively respond to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruptions.
5. Deliver fully integrated solutions, including peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software.
6. Train other field engineers and customers on solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a science field such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or equivalent college degree with work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a laboratory environment.
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving is essential.
• Experience with Agilent Instruments is preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel, with an expectation of 25% travel.

Additional Details:

• This is a full-time position with an option for remote work.
• Pay range is $64,800 - $101,250 CAD per year, plus bonuses, stock, and benefits. Exact pay depends on location, skills, and experience. More details at https://careers.agilent.com/locations.
