Job summary

PHS Canada in Kirkland, QC is seeking a Sales Representative – Building Automation Systems to develop new accounts, nurture relationships with contractors and engineering firms, and drive growth in the HVAC/building automation market.

You will spend substantial time in the field meeting customers, presenting Laurentide/PHS solutions, and collaborating with estimating, engineering and service teams to convert opportunities into projects.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in outside sales, business development or account management within a technical environment.
• Strong knowledge of building automation, building controls, HVAC or building electromechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and availability to travel regularly to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Actively develop new accounts and business opportunities within the building automation market.
• Regularly meet with general contractors, mechanical contractors, consulting engineering firms, property managers and building owners.
• Identify upcoming construction, renovation and modernization projects.
• Develop visibility into upcoming projects to help estimating and operations teams better anticipate demand.
• Achieve established targets for new opportunities, sales and account development.
