Job summary

Qualifications

Detailed knowledge of wildlife, habitats, and seasonal movements in the region.
Knowledge of forest and fire management techniques and related regulations.
Experience applying legislation, monitoring and enforcement techniques.

Responsibilities

Assist in delivery of departmental wildlife, environment and forest management programs at the area level.
Support resource development program delivery and enforcement activities.
Conduct environmental monitoring and protection initiatives.
Supervise casual staff and maintain fixed assets.
