Job summary

Tundra Oil & Gas is seeking a Field Operations Dispatcher for a 9‑month term based in Virden, MB or Estevan, SK. You will coordinate downhole field operations, schedule trucks, equipment, and crews, and monitor real‑time conditions using IronSight to keep activities safe and cost‑effective.

Reporting to the Workovers Manager, you’ll prioritize requests, maintain communications with drivers and service providers, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while supporting

Qualifications

• Completions and/or Workovers oilfield experience.
• Minimum 1–3 years of downhole oilfield experience.
• Workover experience is strongly preferred.
• Dispatch experience is asset but not required.
• Service rig and supporting services activity experience.
• Knowledge of workover operations and horizontal well stimulations.
• Proficiency in IronSight, or ability to learn quickly.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PVR, and AccuMap.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn new systems and technologies.
• Ability to complete required training: H2S Alive, First Aid, TDG, WHMIS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate downhole field operations to meet priorities.
• Schedule and dispatch trucks, equipment, and field personnel.
• Program, schedule, and monitor all workover activities.
• Maintain communication with drivers, field crews, and service providers.
• Monitor progress with IronSight and adjust for weather and demand.
• Review reports and liaise with field supervisors for alignment.
• Ensure operations comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Prepare regulatory reporting and documentation.
• Verify invoices related to dispatched work.
• Support continuous dispatch process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
