Job summary

ARC Resources Ltd. invites applications for a Field Operations Engineering Summer Student in Grande Prairie, AB. You will work with the Operations Engineering team, travel to field sites in Kakwa, and contribute to projects that improve efficiency and safety during a 4-month term starting May 2027.

The role suits a student in 2nd or 3rd year of an Engineering degree who can drive rural roads, is willing to work in the field, and demonstrates strong analytical and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Engineering, in 2nd or 3rd year and returning to studies next term.
• Valid Class 5 license and experience driving on rural roads.
• Willingness to go to field locations and travel as required.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ad hoc projects for Project Managers and MOC from Operations Engineers.
• Gather data from superpads and plants to support troubleshooting and project development.
• Collect combustion data and identify efficiency opportunities for economic justification.
• Perform emission inventory audits and help develop mitigation projects.
• Travel to ARC’s field locations as required.
