Responsibilities

• Gather data from superpads and plants to support troubleshooting and project development.
• Collect combustion data and identify efficiency opportunities for economic justification.
• Perform emission inventory audits and help develop mitigation projects.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking a Field Operations Engineering Summer Student for to work with our Operations Engineering team. This position is based in the Grande Prairie office with regular travel to the field in the liquids-rich Kakwa region located in northwest Alberta. The wells and facilities are located approximately 100 kilometers south of Grande Prairie, Alberta along Highway 40, consisting of five main gas plants across the Montney asset. The successful candidate must be able to work out of the Grande Prairie office and travel regularly to field locations in the Kakwa region. The work term will commence in May 2027 and last for a 4-month period.

This position reports to the Supervisor, Operations Engineering, and requires an organized,detail orientedand motivated individual who is ready to work in a fast-paced environment and take on new challenges. The role involves working alongside team members with extensive and diverse experience within Operations Engineering.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with ad hoc projects for Project Managers and Management of Change (MOC) projects assigned by Operations Engineers
• Gather data fromsuperpadsand plants in support of troubleshooting and project development
• Gather combustion data,identifyopportunities for efficiency, and support economic justification of projects
• Perform emission inventory audits and develop projects to mitigate these emissions
• Travel to ARC’s field locations as required

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC:

• The position is ideally suited for a student currently in their second or third year of a Bachelor’s program in Engineering, and are returning to their studies the following term
• Valid Class 5 license and experience driving on rural roads
• Capability and willingness to go to the field
• Excellent communication and strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Motivated and enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic
• Possess a strong commitment to safety
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to process changes and modifications
• Must be able to work from the Grande Prairie office and travel regularly to field locations throughout the work term
