About this Position
We are seeking a Field Investigator to join our Field Management Department.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent reviews of matters flagged on surveillance reports referred to Field Management.
• Research, investigate, and respond to inquiries related to mutual funds registration and licensing.
• Follow up with representatives, RVP/Branch Managers, and relevant internal departments for additional information.
• Provide guidance to representatives on company policies, regulatory compliance, and best practices.
• Respond to inquiries from representatives and other business units.
• Advise staff on policies, compliance, and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1-year experience in market conduct or risk management roles.
• Willingness to complete the Mutual Funds and/or Canadian Securities course within 6 months.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for life insurance and mutual funds is an asset.
• Life insurance or Branch Manager courses are assets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good research and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Good judgment for goodwill adjustments.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word).
• Bilingualism is an asset.
