Job summary

NorthRiver Midstream is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Measurement professional to join Operations. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on field instrumentation at valve sites, pump stations, and meter stations, calibrate and troubleshoot devices, and support custody transfer measurement systems.

Qualifications

• Valid safety certifications (e.g., H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, Confined Space, LOTO).
• Familiarity with pipeline regulations and standards (CER, CSA Z662).
• 5+ years of instrumentation experience in oil & gas, pipelines, or industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on field instrumentation at valve sites, pump stations, and meter stations.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation including transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and measurement devices (e.g., flow, pressure, temperature, and density).
• Maintain and support custody transfer measurement systems, including meter verification and basic proving activities.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, RTUs, flow computers, and SCADA-connected field devices.
• Conduct routine inspections and functional testing of instrumentation and control systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Ensure instrumentation and measurement systems meet applicable regulatory and company standards (e.g., CER, CSA Z662).
• Maintain accurate calibration and maintenance records to support compliance and audit requirements.
