Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administer medications in patients' homes, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinics.
  • Assess and monitor pre- and post-injection/infusion treatments as per protocols.
  • Complete documentation according to policies, procedures, and standards set by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO.
  • Educate patients and caregivers based on product monographs and protocols, individually or in groups.
  • Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints per training and policies.
  • Ensure reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and key performance indicators.
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate scheduling and treatments.
  • Coordinate with patients/caregivers for appointments and drug delivery.
  • Participate in team meetings and training to maintain professional standards.
  • Follow professional nursing standards and collaborate within healthcare teams, delegating tasks as authorized.
  • Travel within designated areas to meet operational needs.
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and health and safety standards.
  • Complete ongoing education and training as scheduled.
  • Perform other duties as required and be available on standby/on call if needed.
Experience and Educational Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with relevant experience required.
  • At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
  • Current registration with licensing body; CPR certification.
  • Experience in critical care, emergency, or homecare settings.
  • Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA are assets; experience with central lines/ports is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, internet, and communication tools.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel within the area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Effective time management, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Self-directed with adaptability to fast-paced environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance.

The successful candidate may interact daily with English-speaking customers, patients, or team members.
