Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
  2. Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
  3. Complete necessary documentation based on policies and procedures, and as directed by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation standards of practice.
  4. Provide patient/caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
  5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures.
  6. Ensure reliable availability based on the employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics KPIs.
  7. Communicate and work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments and treatments.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to set up appointments and drug delivery to home and clinic.
  9. Participate in team web-based meetings and training sessions to maintain and enhance professional practice standards.
  10. Participate in specialized client-related training as required.
  11. Adhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by professional associations and Innomar.
  12. Work collaboratively within the healthcare team, providing oversight and delegation of tasks to RPN/LPN as authorized.
  13. Travel within your designated area to meet operational needs.
  14. Follow all nursing and clinic SOPs and work instructions.
  15. Follow all health and safety standards as per provincial regulations.
  16. Complete ongoing and annual education training as per the training matrix within the specified timeframes.
  17. Perform other related duties as required by Innomar.
  18. May be required to be on standby/on call to meet service needs.
Experience and Educational Requirements
  1. Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse required.
  2. 1 year experience in IV initiation required.
  3. Current registration with licensing body; CPR certification.
  4. Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare setting.
  5. ACLS, PALS, MS, and CVAA certifications, and central venous lines/port experience are assets.
  6. Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and other applicable programs.
  7. Access to internet and cell phone for communication and appointment management.
  8. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  9. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  10. Ability to travel within the designated area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements
  1. Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
  2. Business and financial acumen is an asset.
  3. Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  5. Self-directed and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  6. Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage.

The successful candidate may have daily contacts with English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.
