Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
  2. Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
  3. Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards of practice including those from the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
  4. Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, either individually or in groups.
  5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar policies and procedures.
  6. Ensure reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics KPIs, based on the employment agreement.
  7. Communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet scheduling and treatment timelines.
  8. Coordinate with patients and caregivers to set up appointments and arrange drug delivery to homes and clinics.
  9. Participate in team web-based meetings and training sessions to maintain and improve professional standards.
  10. Engage in specialized client-related training as needed.
  11. Adhere to professional nursing standards and Innomar policies.
  12. Work collaboratively within the healthcare team, providing oversight and delegation to RPN/LPN as authorized.
  13. Travel within designated IBUs to meet operational needs.
  14. Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions related to nursing and clinics.
  15. Comply with all health and safety standards per provincial regulations.
  16. Complete ongoing and annual education and training within required timeframes.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by Innomar.
  18. Be available on standby/on call as required to meet service needs.
Experience and Educational Requirements
  1. Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse.
  2. At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
  3. Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification.
  4. Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare settings.
  5. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA, and experience with central venous lines/ports are assets.
  6. Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and other relevant computer applications.
  7. Reliable internet access and a cell phone for communication and appointment management.
  8. Excellent customer service, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Ability to travel within the geographical area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  1. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
  2. Business and financial acumen are assets.
  3. Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  4. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  6. Valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver’s license and insurance coverage.

The successful candidate may have daily contact with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.
