Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
- Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
- Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards of practice including those from the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
- Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
- Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar policies and procedures.
- Ensure reliable availability based on employment agreements to meet the needs of the IBU and key performance indicators.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet scheduling and treatment timelines.
- Coordinate with patients and caregivers for appointments and drug delivery.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
- Adhere to professional nursing standards and work collaboratively within the healthcare team, including delegation to RPN/LPN as authorized.
- Travel within designated areas to meet operational needs.
- Follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and health and safety standards.
- Complete ongoing education and training as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned and be available on standby/on call if necessary.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with relevant experience required.
- At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
- Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification.
- Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare setting.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA, and central venous line experience are assets.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and internet access.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel within the designated area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal, leadership, and time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage.
The successful candidate may have daily contact with English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.

Salary Range
$72,400 CAD - $111,540 CAD
