Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
  2. Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
  3. Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards of practice including those from the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
  4. Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
  5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar policies and procedures.
  6. Ensure reliable availability based on employment agreements to meet the needs of the IBU and key performance indicators.
  7. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet scheduling and treatment timelines.
  8. Coordinate with patients and caregivers for appointments and drug delivery.
  9. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
  10. Adhere to professional nursing standards and work collaboratively within the healthcare team, including delegation to RPN/LPN as authorized.
  11. Travel within designated areas to meet operational needs.
  12. Follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and health and safety standards.
  13. Complete ongoing education and training as required.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned and be available on standby/on call if necessary.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
  1. Registered Nurse with relevant experience required.
  2. At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
  3. Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification.
  4. Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare setting.
  5. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA, and central venous line experience are assets.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office applications and internet access.
  7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and travel within the designated area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  1. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
  2. Strong critical thinking, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  3. Effective interpersonal, leadership, and time management skills.
  4. Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage.

The successful candidate may have daily contact with English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.

Salary Range

$72,400 CAD - $111,540 CAD
