WORKFORCE - Staffing Solutions is looking for a Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician to service customers across Western Canada, based in the Red Deer area. The role is field-based, with a company-provided service truck and Monday–Friday hours, visiting client sites and addressing driveline and engine issues.

The position offers competitive pay from $45 to $50 per hour, benefits, pension, profit sharing, and vacation allotment, with LOA for overnight calls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanic experience
• Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician
• Driveline and engine experience is highly beneficial
• Ability to work with customers in a positive and professional manner
• High mechanical aptitude; electrical knowledge valued
• Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Clear verbal and written English skills
• Interact professionally and in a level-headed manner with customers when required.

Overview

Seeking a Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician for an established company with multiple locations in Western Canada. Their customers are throughout the US and Canada marketplace. They have had success over several decades assembling and servicing specialized heavy equipment for the pulp and paper, oil and gas, rail, transportation, and manufacturing sectors.

There is currently a need to hire a heavy-duty mechanic. In this role you will work Mon-Fri and work in the field. You will be based in the Red Deer area and go to service calls in a company provided service vehicle. You will be afforded the opportunity for overtime. Its important the hired candidate is good with customers and treats their day like its their own business in terms of organization skills. Competitive pay, pension, profit share, excellent benefits, and fair vacation allotment are available for the successful candidate in this role.

$45 to 50 per hour depending on experience plus benefits, company provided service truck. LOA if out overnights.

Requirements
