Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Generator Technician located in Surrey, BC. The technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of industrial generators, transformers, distribution, and cabling. The role involves ensuring power solutions are operational and reliable for different site requirements.

Qualifications

• Hold a Provincial Red Seal qualification in at least one of the following fields : diesel engine, heavy-duty mechanic, or electrician.
• Experience with different makes / models of power generation equipment and associated components, including fuel systems, cooling, heating, driveline, exhaust, and transfer switches.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to resolve complex issues and follow projects through to completion.
• Must include ASTTBC certification
• Knowledge of current CSA282-24 requirements.
• Customer-service oriented with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Ability to keep a clean and organized work area.
• Experience in generator installation, maintenance, and service.
• Skills in troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
