Job summary

A reputable agricultural service company in Arborg is searching for a service technician to handle equipment repairs and maintenance. The technician will work independently on the road, providing essential services to customers. Candidates should have journeyperson certification and a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform service repairs, inspections, upgrades, optimization, and maintenance work.
  • Act as the 'go to' person for customers in need.

Job description

You will be performing service repairs, inspections, upgrades, optimization and maintenance work on customer owned equipment.

Required Skills
  • Has a proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of agricultural equipment.
  • Is proficient in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Is handy with a laptop to support diagnostics.
  • Has excellent problem solving ability.
Required Experience
  • High school completion or equivalent GED
  • Journeyperson certification - completion of 4-year Ag Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprenticeship
  • Completion of John Deere certification or willingness to undertake
  • Driver’s license and clear abstract
