Role description:

In response to strategic growth, we are currently seeking a Field Engineering Site Supervisor to join our Edmonton team. This role is part of our global business area Places, working on creating smart, safe, and sustainable places where people live, work, learn, and thrive. The role involves overseeing construction activities, coordinating survey and site management tasks, and ensuring project quality and safety.

Role accountabilities:

• Conduct site surveys and as-built documentation
• Generate survey points and create grade sheets
• Liaise with contractors regarding construction and survey needs
• Establish and confirm quantities for progress claims
• Update project engineers and managers
• Attend site meetings
• Provide as-built surveys, including site topographies
• Prepare CCC packages for submission and coordinate inspections
• Manage neighborhood site activities and coordinate survey assistants
• Complete site inspection reports and monitor site conditions
• Observe site operations and report potential issues to engineers
• Conduct construction monitoring for QA/QC
• Assist in project administration as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

• NAIT Diploma for Technologist or equivalent
• 1 to 5 years of related construction or engineering field experience
• APEGA certification for CET or P.Eng preferred when applicable
