Job summary

ConeTec is seeking a Field Engineer/Geologist to safely operate geotechnical and geophysical site investigation equipment, collect data, and produce accurate field reports. You will work with the equipment fleet, support project coordination, and travel to sites across Western Canada, gaining hands-on experience with CPTu, VST, and other instruments.

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or geology is required, with driver’s license and field experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology or other geo-related science.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Previous field experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate CPTu and other geotechnical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collect and compile field data, logs and photos for reporting.
• Prepare final field reports and ensure quality data transfer to supervisors.
• Follow ConeTec safety culture and incident reporting protocols.
• Travel to various sites across Western Canada as required.
