Your mission should you accept it:

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Electrical Field Engineer is responsible for the project's electrical activities, ensuring compliance with technical procedures on site. They supervise and communicate the progress of electrical work for wind turbines, ensure standards are met, plan and organize site activities with the coordinator, and act as a liaison among project stakeholders. They monitor work progress, prepare reports, participate in site meetings and quality inspections, all while respecting deadlines and budget. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Project: Haute Chaudière Wind Farm

This project is part of Quebec's energy transition, increasing wind power capacity with 20 turbines (120 MW). Located on private and public lands in the municipalities of Frontenac, Audet, and Lac-Mégantic, it aims to integrate renewable energy into Hydro-Québec's network.

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a college diploma, or relevant experience
• 1 to 5 years of similar experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Fluency in French and intermediate English
• High geographic mobility
• Valid driver's license
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Autonomy and leadership
• Conflict resolution skills
• Ability to adapt to high-stress environments and weather conditions

Key responsibilities include:

• Reporting to the Superintendent
• Implementing the Quality Plan and inspecting work
• Acting as an intermediary regarding work quality
• Accessing all work areas and identifying quality issues
• Recommending solutions and stopping non-compliant activities
• Supervising problem resolution and documenting non-compliances
• Supporting quality implementation and monitoring materials
• Conducting inspections and ensuring material compliance
• Tracking materials and compiling data
• Monitoring corrective actions and producing project end records
• Performing other related duties
