Job summary

Applus+ QPS is seeking a full-time Electrical Inspector based in Winnipeg, MB, to perform inspections ensuring compliance with codes, standards and certification requirements. You will review documentation, conduct field evaluations, and prepare detailed reports for clients.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, experience with hazardous locations, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience with electrical equipment used in hazardous locations or industrial control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and product specifications.
• Proficiency in inspections, testing, and documentation with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical products and installations to verify compliance with codes, standards and certification requirements.
• Review technical documentation and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Conduct field evaluations and communicate findings to clients clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with engineering and certification teams and support clients through the approval process.
