Job summary

Candidates must be a certified Electrical Journeyperson and able to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include completing QC turnover documentation, performing field inspections, and ensuring installations meet applicable codes and contract specs.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Electrical Journeyperson (Red Seal Preferred).
• Minimum of one year experience in QAQC.
• Ability to read blueprints, isometrics, P&ID, and understand installation details and construction sequence.
• Solid understanding of Electrical Code requirements.
• Proficient with MS Office products.
• Ability to instruct and monitor work crews efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the QC documentation is completed for turnover package as required by the client.
• Perform field checks and inspections and ensure QA/QC program on site follows the ITP for the project.
• Act as a resource to Superintendents and construction teams to ensure installations meet codes, standards and contract specs.
• Update and complete QA/QC database for turnover to client and PTW offices.
• Ensure red line drawings are completed to client specifications and filed with document control.
• Instruct construction field QC personnel and generate inspection packages for field crews.
