Job summary

Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) invites you to apply for the Field Data Capture (FDC) Student position in Calgary. You will learn essential applications, work with mentors, and contribute to data mining and analysis projects during a 12-month term.

The role offers a structured development path with exposure to Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, SSRS and PowerBI, plus relocation support and involvement in campus recruitment initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate degree in operations management or computer science.
• Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate across disciplines and teams.
• Familiarity with Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, SSRS and PowerBI is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Learn key applications and become familiar with business processes.
• Learn data mining, querying and analytical tools to analyze data.
• Assist with testing and verification of application upgrades.
• Assist with developing exception reporting to aid field staff in validating data.
• Create and maintain process documentation for key processes and admin tasks.
• Receive, troubleshoot and resolve support issues for select properties.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as required.
