Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) seeks an Engineering Student to join our Development Operations team in Calgary for a 4‑month term. You will assist in planning, data analysis, and optimization of well completions and abandonments, gaining exposure to industry software like Wellview, Accumap, Tableau, and Power BI.

You are in 2nd–4th year of engineering and hold a valid Class 5 Alberta license. This role emphasizes collaboration, organization, and the ability to manage competing

Qualifications

• Enrolled in 2nd–4th year of an Engineering degree (Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Energy, and Petroleum/Oil & Gas preferred).
• Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or equivalent out-of-province license.
• Motivated, collaborative, organized, and able to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering team with data acquisition and analysis for optimization projects.
• Gain hands-on experience with Wellview, Accumap, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Learn all aspects of well operations in drilling and completions.
