Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) seeks a student for an 8-month term at Fort McMurray, AB, assisting with amphibian, fisheries and wildlife monitoring and report creation. You will identify and track terrestrial wildlife to contribute to the wildlife management system and regulatory reporting while gaining hands-on field experience.

Work will be at Albian or Horizon Oil Sands Site with 4/3 or 8/6 shift patterns; Fly-In/Fly-Out from Calgary or Edmonton may be offered, and relocation

Competenze

• Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year biology, natural science, or environmental program.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract.
• ATV and/or watercraft experience is an asset.
• Environmental or oil sands experience is an asset.

Mansioni

• Assist with amphibian, fisheries and wildlife monitoring including field work and report creation.
• Track and record field and laboratory data.
• Contribute to surface water quality monitoring as required.
• Identify, manage and track terrestrial wildlife to support wildlife management.
• Assist with wildlife regulatory reporting.

Conoscenze

Driver's license (Class 5)

ATV/Watercraft experience

Environmental or oil sands experience
