Job summary

Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) invites engineering students to join our Development Operations team in Calgary for an 8-month term. The role is 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours per day, with starts in January, May, or September 2027, and a safety-sensitive environment focused on well and pipeline abandonment and decommissioning.

You will gain hands-on experience with Wellview, Siteview, Accumap and Tableau, support data acquisition and analysis, and collaborate with industry

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in 2nd–4th year of an engineering degree.
• Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license or equivalent.
• Motivated, collaborative, organized with ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support an engineering team with data acquisition and analysis for optimization projects.
• Acquire hands-on experience with industry software including Wellview, Siteview, Accumap and Tableau.
• Gain exposure to well, pipeline, and facility operations including abandonment and decommissioning.
