Job summary

RWC is seeking a Project Estimator/Coordinator to help manage material take-offs, site coordination, and timely project documentation. The role requires a degree in Engineering or Construction Management and strong Excel and Bluebeam skills.

You will work closely with suppliers, fabrication, and on-site teams to ensure schedules and budgets are kept on track. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of AutoCAD, Plexxis, Procore, and Fieldwire, with excellent communication and organizational

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material deliveries aligned with site requirements and restrictions.
• Review blueprints and specs to extract project scope and requirements.
• Prepare estimates and material take-offs within deadlines.
• Collaborate with office, suppliers, installation, and shipping teams to maintain schedules.
• Track issues on-site and in fabrication shop and assist resolution.
• Maintain project records and report progress, invoicing, and productivity.
• Review site logistics and RFIs; manage documentation.
• Keep Excel tracking sheets up-to-date and accurate.
• Assist QA/QC documentation and address deficiencies in Fieldwire/Procore/Bluebeam.
• Monitor project schedules and communicate changes to the team.
• Support ad-hoc projects as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate material deliveries in accordance to site requirements and restrictions.
• Review and analyze blueprints, specification lists and other relevant project documents to extract the scope of work and gain a thorough understanding of the project.
• Prepare estimates and calculate material take-offs while working within established deadlines.
• Work in tandem with our office, material suppliers, installation and shipping teams to ensure proper schedules are maintained.
• Identify, track and assist in resolving issues arising on the job site and, when applicable in the fabrication shop.
• Maintain detailed project records of ongoing projects and report to the Foreman and Supervisor for timely progress invoicing, production tracking, forecasting, daily productivity tracking etc.
• Review site logistics as required.
• Review, process, and track Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Maintain and update Excel tracking sheets.
• Assist with QA/QC documentation and track deficiencies using various platforms such as Fieldwire, Procore, and Bluebeam.
• Review project schedules and document changes to keep the project team informed.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.

Skills And Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Bluebeam experience is preferred.
• Experience with, or willingness to learn and implement, construction estimating software, AutoCAD, Plexxis, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet project demands.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Ability to work outdoors and endure varying site conditions.
• Ability to walk job sites for extended periods of time.
• Experience with Bluebeam is preferred.
