Job summary

Marco Group, a leading Atlantic Canada contractor, seeks a organized Field Coordinator to support site leadership on large-scale projects. You will collaborate with the Superintendent to coordinate trade activities, manage day-to-day site operations, and drive schedule performance while prioritizing safety and quality.

This role offers hands-on field experience, exposure to project execution plans, QA/QC processes, and opportunities for career growth within a supportive, values-driven team.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Engineering, CET certification, a carpentry program or equivalent training.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A passion for construction and the desire to work on large project sites.
• Capacity to efficiently prioritize and work under tight deadlines.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and construction software such as Procore.
• Experience in construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with trade contractor management.
• Monitor trade performance and productivity tracking; address schedule challenges.
• Support the implementation of the Project Execution Plan.
• Monitor materials, documentation, and site logistics to ensure alignment for success.
• Keep the job site clean and safe; coordinate trades to maintain workflow.
