Job summary

EllisDon Construction Services Inc. is seeking a Field Coordinator to support the Project Manager and Superintendent in project planning, inspections, layout, and other field work on infrastructure projects.

The role requires 1-3 years of infrastructure experience on bridge/road/culvert projects, plus a working knowledge of scheduling and project management software. You will collaborate with owners, contractors, and engineers, and be comfortable working in remote areas.

Responsibilities

Work alongside the Project Manager and Superintendent in project planning, inspections, layout, and other field work.
Work alongside and regularly communicate with owners, contract administrators, contractors and engineers.
Prepare and issue temporary access, structure design, and provide sign-off of QVE inspections.
Review, interpret and update construction schedules and projections and maintain accurate and up-to-date shop drawings.
Create and issue RFIs, process notices of change, and design checks.
Conduct quality control activities, site layout, inspection programs and updating of construction progress records
