Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Ontario, Canada is seeking a Field Coordinator to support Project Manager and Superintendent in planning, inspections, layout and various field activities on infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with owners, contract administrators, contractors and engineers; prepare and issue RFIs and change notices; review schedules and uphold shop drawings; and participate in quality control, site layout and progress record keeping.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of infrastructure experience on bridge/road/culvert projects.
• Ability to read plans and understand field operations.
• Willingness to work in remote areas.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Project Manager and Superintendent in planning, inspections, layout, and other field work.
• Communicate with owners, contract administrators, contractors and engineers.
• Prepare and issue RFIs, change notices, and design checks.
• Review, interpret and update construction schedules and maintain shop drawings.
