Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking an Intermediate Architectural Technologist to support complex projects through construction completion. The role blends design expertise with field coordination, requiring strong communication with architects, engineers, contractors and owners on-site.

The successful candidate will travel to project sites across Canada, maintain a regular site presence, and ensure contract documents, design intent and project specs are followed during construction.

Qualifications

• Must have strong architectural technology and construction administration experience.
• Experience coordinating between architects, engineers and contractors.
• Proven ability to work in active construction environments and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular on-site presence (roughly 50%) to support project delivery.
• Act as field representative ensuring design intent and contract requirements are met.
• Review RFIs, site instructions, and submittals for accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare site reports and construction administration records.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to resolve field coordination issues.
