Job summary

Cencora in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is seeking a Field Case Manager who will coordinate patient support programs, liaise with physicians and clinics, and guide reimbursement navigation to enable timely access to therapy for patients.

You will train physicians, collect data, complete reports, and collaborate with the Program Manager to resolve issues, travel regionally, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse with active registration in the province of employment.
• 3+ years nursing experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory; overnight travel may be required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Fluency in French and English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Practice Management: customize program elements, assist with patient enrollment, prepare payer forms, resolve coverage obstacles, train physicians, liaise with Program Manager, complete reports.
• Patient Support: welcome patients, provide reimbursement guidelines, coordinate services and drug delivery, navigate financial assistance, coordinate therapy status, refer to healthcare providers for questions.
• Mentorship/Peer Support: train and develop new Field Case Manager staff, support peers, maintain relationship with the Patient Support Program team, share timely information.
• Manufacturer Interface: participate in physician meetings, attend CME events, present to physicians with Pharmaceutical Representatives.
• Other: maintain communication with program staff and stakeholders, complete time sheets/reports, and be available for standby/on-call duties.
