Qualifications

• University degree or College Diploma in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in sustainability, waste management, recycling, or related field.
• Knowledge of waste auditing practices and sustainability compliance regulations is an asset.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; data management skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Canada and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct waste composition audits at industrial, commercial, municipal, and institutional facilities across Canada.
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate audit data and ensure timely submission of field documentation.
• Assist with audit preparation, including identifying waste streams, assessing contamination levels, and understanding regional waste acceptance criteria.
• Complete administrative tasks such as expense reporting, audit time tracking, CV creation, and maintenance of detailed photo logs.
• Follow and promote all health and safety protocols while working in field and industrial environments.
• Collaborate with internal audit team members to ensure audit projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
