BC Ferries is seeking a Customer Service Attendant on Salt Spring Island for a casual, on‑site role focused on delivering safe, high‑quality passenger service. You will take orders, relay to the galley, assist with food presentation, keep areas clean, and provide schedule information.

Applicants should have at least one year of customer service experience; Seafarer’s Medical, Food Safe Level 1 and Serving It Right are preferred and can be obtained after an offer.

Formación

• One year of customer service experience, preferably in a food service environment.
• Valid Seafarer’s Medical, Food Safe Level 1 and Serving It Right certificates required or obtainable after offer.

Responsabilidades

• Take passenger orders, relay to galley, portion and serve items.
• Sell and serve alcoholic beverages.
• Assist with presentation of hot and cold menu items.
• Clear and clean tables and passenger areas; handle dishes and waste.
• Perform housekeeping and cleaning routines around galley and decks.
• Provide information to passengers about ferry schedules.
• Participate in marine emergency duties and drills as required.
