Job summary

Canada Packers Inc. is seeking an experienced Feed Truck Driver in Niverville to deliver feed while upholding safety and excellent customer service.

The role is full-time with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, and offers the chance to work for a company focused on sustainable agriculture. As a hands-on, independent driver, you will ensure timely nutrition delivery to animals and contribute to a team that values accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with favorable abstract.
• 1 year of driving with Class 1 license; 3–5 years considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service while delivering loads of feed as scheduled by the dispatcher.
• Perform daily pre-trip and weekly truck/trailer inspections.
• Report maintenance concerns to supervisor and log issues.
• Keep logbook accurate and up-to-date as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tractor/trailer in all weather conditions.
• Complete all paperwork per business requirements.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Operate in temperatures from +40 to -40 degrees Celsius.

About this opportunity

Location: Niverville Feed Mill

Employment Type: Full‑time (40 hours/week)

Salary: Opportunity to earn up to $24.50 per hour.

Schedule: Rotating shifts that include weekends, and holidays.

As a Feed Truck Driver at Canada Packers, you’ll be responsible for the efficient delivery of feed products while providing courteous, quality‑conscious customer service, in line with our company’s high standards. This is a hands‑on, independent role where you’ll help ensure our animals receive the nutrition they need, on time and with care. Responsibilities

• Providing quality customer service.
• Delivering loads of feed as assigned by the dispatcher.
• Performing daily pre‑trip and weekly truck/trailer inspections.
• Reporting and discussing truck/trailer maintenance concerns with the supervisor.
• Maintaining the logbook as required.
• Keeping the tractor/trailer unit clean and well organized, both inside and out, regardless of weather conditions and the demand for on‑time feed delivery.
• Completing all paperwork according to business requirements.
• Working flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays.
• Operating in extreme temperatures ranging from +40 to -40 degrees Celsius.

Skills & Experience

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application. Proof of eligibility may be requested during the recruitment process.

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a favorable Driver’s Abstract.
• Got experience? We’re looking for drivers with at least 1 year behind the wheel with a Class 1 license, and if you’ve got 3–5 years of truck/trailer experience, even better!.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
