A regional healthcare provider in Roblin, Manitoba is seeking a Family Physician to join their team. The successful candidate will manage a family practice, diagnose and treat patients, and participate in the Emergency Department on-call schedule. This is a fee-for-service position with no remote work option. Applicants must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree and have licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Benefits are available for purchase if desired.
Work Location: On site – Roblin Health Centre (15 Hospital Street, Roblin, MB R0L 1P0). There is no option to work remotely.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Anticipated Shift: Full Time, Days, Early Mornings, Mornings, Evenings, Nights, On Call, Weekends
Daily Hours Worked: Various hour shifts (30 to 40 hours per week)
Position Type: Fee for service
Wage Rate: Compensation is fee‑for‑service as per the Doctors Manitoba and Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living negotiated rates. Benefits are not provided, but may be purchased if the successful candidate so desired.
Position Summary
Roblin Health Centre is a 25‑bed acute care and 60‑bed long term care facility. Services offered include Diagnostic, Emergency, Palliative, and Mental Health.
Praire Mountain Health is seeking a Family Physician to join the Roblin Health Centre. Duties to include: performing all duties associated with a family practice, including diagnosing and treating diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients, act as the primary care provider and provide continuous care toward the management of patients’ health. The physician will also share in the Emergency Department on‑call schedule and will cooperate and coordinate coverage with other physician colleagues.
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Private practice, Rural area
The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
